Hadrianus - or Hade for short after winning the Best Male kitten at the Maine Coon Cat Club Show of 1998. Our first stud boy from Phillipa Holmes (Noracoon).

A superb boy with a great temperament on his own patch. His coat is full; he has great boning, a large round head and we use his tail to brush out his run. We no longer show him while he is working - but who knows. Takes after his dad Brittanicus and his son Uther Pendragon follows on that tradition.

Hade (Ed - Jan 2000 just before his audition for the part as the Lion in The Wizard of Oz). Hade is in full coat at the moment; which means lots of knots to deal with in the undercoat but looks very impressive, imperious and large.

HADRIAN'S RUN.

Built from scratch the structure is 10 foot by 14 foot; the house is 10 foot by 8 foot; heated and insulated it is cosy both for HADRIAN and ourselves. Soon the roof will be completely shaded with Wisteria which should keep him cool in the summer - yes global warming means we get quite Riviera like weather on the South coast of England. We have two doors which means we can split the run in two in the future if we so wish (Ed. we'll have to see about that.)
